Marcus Garvey Park
The Brompton World Championship returns to North America this summer, and it’s coming to New York City!
The uniquely competitive and singularly sartorial event will be held during this year’s Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic.
The race will begin at 2:15 pm sharp. Donning their finest formalwear, competitors will take off with a Le Mans-style start, running, unfolding and mounting their Bromptons, before racing ten laps around Manhattan’s Marcus Garvey Park.
Marcus Garvey Park is located near many public transit options, including the 125th Street stops of the 2/3 and 4/5/6 trains, as well as the Harlem-125th St Metro North station.
The fastest male and female from the singles category will automatically qualify for the BWC 2017 Final to be held in London, England on July 29.
